Hey there! You may be wondering how a handsome fella like myself ended up a foster with PIPs! Well, I had the unfortunate luck of slipping my L2-L3 disc and lost use of my hind legs. My family did everything pawsible to help me gain the use of my back legs, but ultimately knew that I needed more care and rehabilitation than they were able to provide. I have been on crate rest for a few weeks now (I know, call the pawthorities-it should be a crime to contain all these good looks). So far, I rely on scooting around. PIPs got me a wheelchair so I can learn to be a wheelie dog. Can you believe it, my own ride, just call me hot wheels! My accident does not stop me from living my best life because my back was injured not my pawsonality.I love being around people, snuggling, and have been comfortable around my foster dog and cat brothers, although foster mom does not let me play yet-she somehow can resist my puppy eyes. I am looking for a family who will help me navigate this new life as a PIPable pup but also still believe that anything is pawsible. Right now, I am unable to urinate on my own but I am very easy to express. I can take care of the other on my own and will let you know when I have to go. I sleep through the night quietly (and handsomely) in my crate or an enclosed space with my dog bed. I am great with kids but will need them to be gentle with me.
