Meet Penny. She's estimated to be around a year old and definitely has some puppy characteristics. Penny was picked up as a stray off the streets when several other dogs were picked up in the same area. Penny never got to experience what being an actual puppy was like since we believe she was out on the streets most (if not all) of her short life. She is around 45/50 lbs and full of life. Penny currently resides in a house with 8 other dogs. She loves to talk and use her paws. Penny can be a little weird when meeting new dogs, but quickly warms up and decides they are her new bff play friend. Penny was recently spayed and will begin heartworm treatment in the near future (she is definitely not going to be a fan of all that crate rest 🥺). Penny would do best in a home with another dog(s) with similar energy. She LOVES to play with all her friends here. She loves toys (and destroying them😅). Penny is crate trained and mostly potty trained (she does have some puppy ADD and will forget what she's outside to do when her friends are present, so we typically have to leave her outside by herself for a few minutes for her to potty alone). She keeps us laughing with her personality. Penny loves her doggy friends, but also loves to get attention from her humans too. She has not been around children in her foster home and would probably do best with older kids, as she still needs to learn manners and can be jumpy when excited. Penny is a good natured girl and will be a great addition for her forever family. 💗
