Peter Pan is an intelligent 4 year old who also can be a silly pup! His most noticeably adorable feature is his always floppy ears. Just watching them bounce up and down while he walks is enough to make you fall in love! This adventurous boy is always very excited to get out for a walk. He may pull a little, but once you remind him to stay close he has no problem walking loose leash! He is very receptive to training and has made a lot of progress with his sit routine when leaving his kennel as well as practicing staying right by your side when out and about. Treats are the focus of Peter Pan's world and he will do anything you ask for more. Despite his treat obsession, he takes them oh so gently. Even though he likes to stay focused, he is always ready for the 'free' command so he can bounce around and play in the grass. This sweet boy is definitely not opposed to some good head pets either. As soon as you start, his tail starts wagging! He is pretty sociable with humans and has played with other dogs in play groups. He would still need to have a dog to dog introduction with your dog at the shelter, especially since Peter Pan likes to play rough! But you'd expect that from such an adventurous, enthusiastic dude! In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, who are deteriorating in the shelter environment or who have more restrictions on homes they can go to find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
