Adopt Petey a Gray/Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper Doberman Pinscher / Mixed dog in

Meet Petey, he was found running stray by a nice lady. He is a Doberman mix that needed rescuing. Petey is gray and brown and approximately 1 year old. When she found him he was very malnourished, not neutered etc. She was able to get him very healthy, and almost fully vetted. He’s been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated (Rabies, bordatella, and first 3 doses of Da2pp will need 1 more in the next few weeks) and he DOES get along with her own dogs, very friendly. He was neutered on June 17th and has fully recovered from it. He DOES NOT like cats, needs some work with jumping, play biting, and has lots of energy. She thinks it’s best if he DOES NOT go to a home with small children or kids because he jumps and needs to be trained not to play bite and will definitely knock kids over. He also likes to chase cars along my fence line so his forever family needs to be aware, She is worried that if he gets out or if he is walking with a leash he will chase a car and get hit. He will need more work with leash training because he pulls on the leash he’s very strong. He is not fully potty trained, he will mark inside sometimes but he’s very smart I think he will learn it fast. He is NOT food aggressive towards me, I am able to put my hands on his body, mouth, head and even put my hands in the food while he is eating. She was not able to see if he is food aggressive around her own dogs. He sometimes growls at me when his foster mommy try's to get a treat/bone/toy away from him (i think he does it because he has no training and because he was starving when she found him) so he will need a little more work in that area but he is not aggressive towards her in any other way very very sweet baby a wonderful dog. She would really want him to go to a loving family that will keep him as an inside dog because he is sooo sweet. He just needs a family with a little patience and will need to be taught a few more things as he is basically in his puppy stage still since he came from the streets.
