Foster notes: He is doing wonderfully in foster care. I think he would be a fantastic dog for a first time dog owner. He's house trained, has never chewed inappropriately on anything, friendly with people, kids, dogs and cats. He loves to snuggly and be close to you, but doesn't have any separation anxiety when you leave him alone. He's like a turn key house - all ready to go. He still has a good amount of energy but two walks a day is enough exercise for him to snooze all day. Volunteer notes 7/11: pollock is a sweet and gentle boy! He was calm and easy to leash and walk, and took treats SO gently from my hand. He started to be more affectionate after a few minutes together and turns out he LOVES butt rubs! Sweet and calm boy. Pollock came in as an owner surrender on 7/9. They had nothing but great things to say about him! He is good with dogs, cats, and even a bearded dragon! He lived with children ages 12 and 14. They said that he loves cheese and snow, but hates rain. He is fully housetrained, knows sit and stay, doesn't pull on the leash, and they described him as having medium energy.
