Poppy is a sweet, 3 year old cuddle bug. She lived on the streets for the first 16 mos of her life and then in a shelter for another 4 mos. In Jan 2023, at 20 months old, we welcomed Poppy to what we truly believed would be her furever home. She is loving, gentle with toys, no chewing or digging. Definitely high-drive/energetic and would love a big yard or lots of walks. Because of her time on the street, Poppy does have some aggressive tendencies. Notably, she is slow to warm up to men that she doesn't know. Her aggression is typically growling/barking. On 2-3 occasions she has attempted to lunge towards someone. She has never successfully bitten anyone and generally the lunge is more of a warning. We're rehoming her at the request of our landlord and are heartbroken about it
