Presley was adopted from Gwinnett Animal Shelter in June by my former neighbor on a whim after her eldery dog passed. Unfortunately, she is 82 years old and not in a position to care for a young, energetic dog. She asked me to surrender her for her after she was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. I tried to find her a home first, but have had no luck. Unfortunately Gwinnett is not taking owner surrenders at this time due to overcrowding. I also tried the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, but they are also overcrowded. I went back to the owner to confirm she doesn't want her back and she said she does not. I do have her adoption paperwork. She is about 35lbs, 2 years old, very sweet, and not aggressive. Since we have two large dogs, one that has seizures, we are not in a position to keep her. She is desperate to be loved on and definitely needs some training, but she is not bad or aggressive. She's actually very sweet and just wants/needs the attention.
