Pretzel Bites is estimated to be 1-2 years old and weighs in at 19 pounds. He's likely a rat terrier type mix, perhaps some beagle, we aren't sure and he's decided that he's not going to tell us. If you are looking for a friendly small/medium dog that will wag his tail in happiness when he sees you than Pretzel Bites could be the dog for you! While he wont' turn down a treat, this is a dog that thrives on human attention and simply loves to be petted and receive positive praise. He does like soft toys and here in the kennel does not destroy them. The staff reports he has good leash manners. Overall, he's fairly calm for his age and size and simply wants to be with people. Sadly, we don't have background information on Pretzel Bites but he has already tested heartworm positive at intake, so sad at such a young age when a simple preventative medicine could have helped prevent this. We will get him treated and remind him that he is worthy of medical care and a forever home with a family who loves and cherishes him.
