Meet Raspberry: Raspberry is about 8 months old (as of March 2023) and a pit/hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 30 pounds. Raspberry came to our rescue after being taken from an abusive owner. He had a badly embedded collar which left a bad wound around his neck, however he was fortunate that the local community got him to safety. The wound has been taken care of and he is doing very well in his foster home. Raspberry is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Raspberry has not let his previous situation of abuse impact who he is as a dog. Raspberry has been a wonderful companion. He is very friendly, is comfortable meeting anyone and everyone he encounters, and gets along well with other dogs. Raspberry appears to be house trained, but we will continue to assess. Raspberry will need a home with a fenced in yard. Raspberry is up to date on his shots and is neutered.
