Description:
We adopted Ray when she was four months old from Underdog Rescue, an organization that rescues dogs from the Four Corners region. She is a reservation rescue. She turned 2 years old in April and we will have had her for two years in August. Ray is extremely sweet, timid and eager to obey. She has been a great camp dog and mountain biking companion. Ray lives with children and one other dog who she adores! She does well with some dogs but needs reassurance when she meets new people and other dogs, especially really excited dogs. She prefers women over men as a companion due to a probable history of abuse prior to being adopted. Ray is crate and mostly leash trained. We believe she would thrive in an environment where she has someone patient and willing to reassure her often. She can do well as an indoor/outdoor dog or an exclusively outdoor dog. She likes being active but is willing to relax inside with you as well.
