It only makes sense for Reba’s theme song to be “I’m a Survivor” by her namesake, Reba McEntire, as she was rescued from a rural Arkansas shelter where euthanasia was imminent. This girl has gone from frightened and starving to happy-go-lucky and flourishing in her foster home. Reba loves to have fun and loves everyone, including kids and other dogs (cats unknown). She is very energetic, so she requires an adopter with an active lifestyle and a yard. We’re still refining her manners, but she is incredibly easy to train and is food-motivated, so we expect she will be a lady in no time. She is potty trained and crate trained. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who would go anywhere and do anything with you, Reba is your girl!Reba is heartworm positive. We cover the entire cost of treatment. The adopter just has to get her to two appointments at our vet in Peoria, IL, and give some oral medication. If you think Reba would be a good fit for you please apply at gfrpets.org.
