Meet Remy Remy is a young adult who has came to the shelter with 4 litter mates. Three have been adopted, but Remy and his sister Gemini are still looking for homes. He's especially sweet and gentle. He loves to play with other dogs. Originally fearful of the outside world, Remy now enjoys exploring and taking walks. When he looks up at you with his hound dog eyes, you can't help but feel the love! Remy will do best and gain confidence in a quieter home with a single person or adult only family. He needs a patient adopter who's willing to put in consistent work to help him become a fully confident companion. His perfect home comes with a fenced yard so he can run and play, and a family dedicated to giving him exercise walks. It would be ideal if he could be adopted with his sister and/or go to a family with another friendly, playful dog. After a DNA test, we were surprised to learn test that Remy is 50% Great Pyrenees, 14.3% Bluetick Coonhound,13.7% Chow Chow, 11.7% Labrador Retriever and 10.3% German Shepherd. He is neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart warm negative and ready to go home! He will thrive with another friendly, confident dog and would love to be adopted with his sister Gemini!
