This is Rex, named after Captain Rex from the Clone Wars; he is a lab mix around three months old. He weighs about 25 pounds. Rex is shy and thoughtful, but he loves to play with his puppy friends. He and his two siblings were found on a dark country road, trying to sleep in a culvert. After some gentle coaxing they finally decided to trust the strange people trying to catch them, and it has been uphill ever since. Rex is friendly and desperately wants to be loved, but very shy. We aren’t sure whether he and his crew were abandoned, or were actually born on the street. As such, he has a few quirks. He is working hard to overcome his fears, and is becoming more outgoing and playful every day. Rex is easily frightened, and tends to run for cover when there is a loud noise or sudden movement. You have to work to get him to come out of his shell, but are rewarded with a gentle heart when you do. Rex is up to date on his shots, and set to be neutered on March 14th. He will be ready for his forever home very soon! His adoption fee is $500 and includes his transportation to PA.
