Rocket “Rocky” is a 3 month full blood blue Doberman with a birth defect that paralyzed his hind legs. He was rescued from previous owners who left him to fend for himself outside. He recovered from extreme illnesses due to neglect with proper medical intervention. He has no idea he’s “different” from other dogs and loves to play with dogs, cats and people. We are working on play biting because he doesn’t know how strong he is, and he is starting to show improvement. But he is not aggressive even if food is involved. He has hind support straps that can be used to assist in walking and a wheelchair to walk on his own. He scoots around inside but wears diapers or pants to protect his tail from rub burns.
