Meet Roger! He is a 7 yr old neutered male terrier pitbull mix that weighs 47 lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/30 as a stray with a dachshund, who was quickly adopted, leaving Roger by himself. He walks great on a leash and takes treats gently. Even tho he came in with another dog, we do always ask if there will be another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. Roger wouldn't mind being an only pet as he does have so much love to give. He is such a sweet, gentle, loving guy you would want to ever meet. He always has a sparkle in his eye, and will roll over for tummy rubs with such a big smile on his face. He likes to chase a ball or two but does not bring them back. With his laid back personality he would do well in a quiet environment curled up on his dog bed or on the couch cuddling close to his human companion. You could not ask for a loyal loving companion to take out on slow easy strolls, or someone to sit on the porch with, watching sunrises or sunsets with. He has such a big heart and so wants to find is final forever family. Come meet Roger and make him part of your life!
