Ronnie has been in the shelter since early July and we just don’t know why! Don’t let stereotypes scare you away from meeting Ronnie. He is a really great dog and here is the information we have to show just how great he is! Ronnie is eager to please and a quick learner! He has recently been working with one of our volunteers and has learned so much. Ronnie walks great on a leash and is redirected easily. He knows the cues “sit” and “down” and is currently working on “heel” and “shake”. Ronnie has loved learning and would appreciate enrichment / regular exercise in his new home. We suspect he would do great with doggy puzzles! Ronnie is also potty trained, but keep in mind he has spent a long time in the shelter and will need time to learn his new routine. Ronnie can have some separation anxiety which is why having a positive outlet for his energy and things to keep him busy will be great for him! Ronnie has not been reactive towards other dogs and always has a friendly demeanor when seeing them. We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Ronnie is very sweet and cuddly and just loves everyone. He is said to do great with children and enjoys playing with them. Ronnie is gentle and patient. Even after all this time in the shelter Ronnie is still such a happy and wiggly boy! If you believe your home would be a good fit for Ronnie we encourage you to come and meet him!
