This animal has been on needs rescue since 07-21-23.This Animal has ben on Urgent Needs rescue since 07-21-23.This dog is on urgent due unability to walk near or meet some dogs close up without posing a safety risk to other dog.. Also overstimulates and mouths on handler and has difficulty calming down.Summary of Behavior08-02-23.Kennel presence is friendly, wagging at front. Consistantly able to leash and take outside. Outside kennel will lunge and alarm bark at some dogs through barrier and walking past, doesnt relax, unsafe to allow greeting up close due diplaying entense growling, alarm barking at this time. Does seek attention from handler and allow handling. Intermitantly jumps and mouths on handler. We took a LONG walk – I mostly loved the walk, I got tired after awhile. We saw people and dogs – I wanted to meet every dog but my people wanted to be sure everything stayed safe, so they gave me treats instead! At the end I got a yummy, creamy treat!Three Words to Describe Me are: Enthusiastic – Happy - AttentiveNotes from My Walker: Roo is a sweetheart of a girl! She can be a little too interested in other dogs on the trail, so we kept our distance and stepped to the side where she got treats and pets instead. After the first few times, she got the hang of things and she did quite well. She walks beautifully on leash and was a dream in the car. When a bobcat crossed our path, she was very good about trying to ignore it and move along! Her favorite part had to be the Pup Cup – she enjoyed every lick! This girl has so much personality in a compact package. She is full of fun and love for her people.
