7/3/2023Hi! My name is Roxii! I’m a 9.5-year-old beautiful fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my family having a baby and they are wanting me to have a family that gives me the attention I deserve. I am described as friendly, shy, active, smart, calm, protective, playful, affectionate, quiet, nervous, and obedient. When we go for walks I need a strong hold so I don’t pull or bark because I am protective during walks, but am fine at the dog park and when people come into my home. I currently live with a 2-month-old and am great with kids. I even accompany the humans when the baby is crying. It is said that I am dog friendly and do great with dogs at the dog park and the other dogs in the home. I am house trained and crate trained. I am a smart girl and know “sit”, “stand”, “spin”, “speak”, “go sit” (go to bed), and when the humans snap their fingers, I will go sit. When I must be left alone, I am calm in the crate. I do fine freely in the home but may counter surf and sneak food if it’s available. I’m fearful of fireworks, riding in the car, and loud sounds. When outside I do not dig, but in the past I have jumped tall fences and went to the front door and waited for the humans, so a watchful eye on me is beneficial. Some of my favorite things are treats, running, rubbing my back, cuddles, affection, baths, biting at the water from the water hose, belly rubs & neck scratches. My current owners say I am very well-mannered sweetheart.
