Who can resist a pint-sized super snuggler? Little Miss Ruby is the total package. At approximately a year old and only 28 lbs., she adores people large and small, did very well when cat tested with our super chill resident rescue cat, is housetrained, crate trained, and her cuddle skills are second to none! What’s more, she’s a smart little cookie! Although we can’t be sure of her breed make-up, she looks like a mini German Shepherd or Carolina Dog with a bit of Australian Cattle Dog mixed in. Ruby loves to play and then chill with her human indoors. She’s up for any adventure and rides beautifully in the car. Who could resist this pup as their loyal sidekick? When we first rescued Ruby, she was scared of dogs other than her relaxed foster brother and could be a bit reactive when on leash. With patience and training, we’ve learned that Ruby just needs a calm, confident leader she can trust and feel safe with. She’s now making doggy friends when given a slow introduction. An experienced handler who will continue her training will help Ruby become even more of a wonderful companion than she already is! Ruby thinks it’s a blast to chase wildlife so needs a secure fenced-in yard where she can run and play ball with her humans. Her favorite pastime when not playing with her foster family is to try and catch flies, which is very entertaining to watch. Ruby is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She’s a little girl with a ton of personality that’s going to make a wonderful companion for one lucky person or family. Could it be you? Don’t delay!
