Adopt RUSTA a Black American Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed dog

Once Rusta came out of his shell, no one has been a stranger to him. He has met new people and did amazing. Rusta also gets along great with my dogs and cats. He initially tried to hump them but listened amazingly when we and our dogs corrected him. We have not seen any forms of aggression from him. He absolutely LOVES balls. His favorite is a kong ball, he will carry it out to go potty, and chew on it for hours. Rusta did well on leash, initially very excited but calmed down and walked well after. He also does well on car rides, does move around a bit, but still a good boy. He has done well with our cats as well. He initially focused on our cats, as if he hadn`t really seen any before, but listened very well when we told him to stop focusing on them. He has not really done that since. Rusta lives every moment like a gift, almost as if he hasn`t had many experiences in life. He gets very excited for little things. He also likes his alone time, he asks to be put in a room we set up for him to stay when we are not home. He actually asks to go into the room at times. He truly is a happy go lucky, sweet boy.
