Ruthie (Roo) was a malnourished, abandoned stray I took in about a year and a half ago. As she has grown healthy and matured (she is now approx. 2 years old), it has become clear that she needs a rural home to embrace her livestock guardian instincts. The limited space and hectic pace of my city lifestyle keeps Roo very anxious and she has become increasingly aggressive towards other dogs. She adores people and other animals! My wholehearted hope is to find Roo a peaceful environment with land/water to explore and protect. She would really thrive under dominant yet compassionate leadership. Roo has completed obedience and behavioral training and is on anti-anxiety medication under veterinary care. If you can provide Roo with the rural, calm, loving home that she needs and deserves, please reach out. I will be happy to provide more detailed information about her behavior, health, and daily routines to make sure it would be a great fit. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
