My story is one that I am proud to tell and even more proud that I am now a part of Critter Cavalry Rescue who will find me the most special family. My story is that I have been with a homeless couple who got me from someone in a small town in Tennessee and now I am looking for another home. People are just so unstable these days and passing good dogs like me around which hurts our sense of stability and confidence. This homeless couple meant well but they just cannot take care of me in the right way. I am a very happy and friendly boy that is a Rottweiler/black Lab mix who is about 2-3 years old and I weigh 70 pounds. I love to smile and I love people and great with most all other dogs and I am good with cats. I am in foster care now and I am fully vetted and even microchipped. I have to tell you that I love to fetch like the outstanding Labrador Retrievers do….and I love water. Hey take me to the beach, the lake, a creek, a pond a small river….I am happy to go. Or just get me a plastic cheap kiddie pool for the backyard and I will be all over that! I have everything you want in a good and faithful, loving dog. I love car rides and when you take me for a walk, I am easy on the leash and will even take the leash in my mouth and walk along with you. I’ve heard that is pretty adorable when I do it, so I keep doing it. So of course, I need a good place to exercise and run my energy off and I need a smart and established family to adopt me that has a real commitment to stay with me and keep me as their own. I will learn, love and do my best to be your dog guy ever!!! You know that black dogs are looked over and not the first to be adopted. I hope that my life and my future is not looked over because I am not the RIGHT COLOR! I am just as good as a yellow Lab…or a Poodle or an Australian Shepherd or a Doodle or something kind of exotic. I have the heart and soul to be your BFF and I promise I will be COMMITTED to loving only YOU. If you can consider me I promise to never disappoint.
