Sarge is a 5 year-old, 94 lb, German Shepard looking for his forever family. He is UTD, neutered, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, and working on leash manners. Sarge is medium energy and would love a family to go on adventures with, but MOST importantly, throw the ball with!!! Playing ball is his most favorite thing in the whole wide entire world!!! He is good with mellow non-pushy dogs, but does not prefer pushy or very hyper dogs, however he would do best in a single dog home. He's not been cat tested and is sometimes stand-offish with new humans but it doesn't take him long at all to become your new best friend! Sarge is currently completing a board and train and will come with free training for his adoptive family. He loves to work and is incredibly smart so someone with working dog experience would be perfect! Adoption requirements are as such: Not a first time dog owner Experience with working breeds No other pets No kids under 16 No apartments Sarge has to find his new forever home because he is currently being adopted through Flagler county animal services. Please note, Sarge is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers.
