Terrier MixAge: 3-4 yrs old Female, spayed 14 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Sasha and Flash were confiscated by Hayward Animal Control along with eight other dogs from a hoarding situation. Everyone lived in a single hotel room. All of the dogs were related (puppies having puppies . . . ). Four of the dogs were fixed and returned to the owner, while the other six were left at the shelter. None of them were deemed “adoptable” and no other rescue group would take any of them, so Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs pulled all six into multiple foster homes. While most of the dogs are pretty social, Sasha & Flash have struggled in her new environment. Sasha is skittish around people, and is “dog selective” with the other dogs in the home. She allows handling by one of her foster dads, but is intimidated by the “pack leader dad” and tends to avoid him at all costs. Flash is a little more social once he trusts you. Sasha then takes her cues from Flash. Sasha & Flash will need a very patient and trusting person to adopt her. They need to be adopted together. Sasha and Flash need a home with no other dogs and an experienced adopter that can help them feel secure by being a strong pack leader.
