Scamp is all kinds of brindle adorable and growing like a weed in the sun. Scamp spent his adoption photo shoot trying to get the photographer to chase him and run with him; he's ALL play. He's a healthy, athletic, active guy, who would be ideal for someone looking for a smart, willing companion for anything physical: walking, running, hiking, exploring, road trips, Scamp is up for ALL of it. Because Scamp is young and learning, the shelter life has, understandably, be frustrating for him, because it's hard to get the exercise and play time he needs to really thrive. So, we're working on manners and skills and everything a puppy needs to become a great adult dog, and, like all of us, Scamp is a work in progress. For that reason (the learning factor), he is a better fit for an adult-only home with someone committed to helping him continue to learn and grow. He's very sharp, a quick study, and will work for treats, which all make him highly trainable. We have a shelter trainer who can also help you keep his learning on track.
