We adopted sweet sweet Scooter from our local shelter in May of last year, after one of our beloved dogs passed. He is truly the sweetest dog and we never thought we’d have to look for another home for him, it breaks our hearts. The reason why we are in this position is because our other dog is not getting along with him and since we have two young children, we feel like this isn’t a safe environment. Scooter has not been the aggressor in any of their issues, he has never shown any aggression since we adopted him. He is incredibly sweet with the kids and I trust him with them entirely. Our other dog is getting older and crankier so he doesn’t seem able to handle a playful pup in the house and we feel bad for Scooter. He gets along amazingly well with dogs and kids and would do great in a home with or without kids. He loves walks and has his spurts of energy but it doesn’t take much to tucker him out! He isn’t a barker, he is fully house trained and just an all around wonderful dog.
