Shortbread came to BARCS as she was not a good fit for her former family. In her home she loved to hike and even though she's 9 years old she is full of life. She loves car rides, even long ones because she knows she's headed to her next adventure. She is very affectionate, likes making eye contact with her humans. She will follow you around the house and she will be your best companion. She knows basic commands such as sit, lay and stay and is also housetrained. She hasn't been around kids or cats. Shortbread is uncomfortable around other dogs and would prefer to be your one and only at home.Visit BARCS to meet Shortbread or one of her friends! She is residing in the back hallway (not in one of the main kennel rooms), so please ask to meet her - it's lonely back there!
