Shushu might be all barks and energy in her kennel, but once she is out, she is one happy girl. Shushu is working on her leash training and loves walks around the neighborhood. She enjoys the play yard as well and will run along the fence line with her doggie friends. She barks when she gets excited but is easily redirected with a treat and the sit command. She is also quite housetrained!Shushu’s ideal home would be one with adults and potentially older children. She could be an only dog or can live with some doggie friends. Staff can set up a meet and greet with any resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along. Her home would also include lots of treats, especially peanut butter and stimulation in the form of toys, puzzles, and games. Shushu likes to relax after getting a good run in, so her ideal family would provide her with exercise a few times a day. Most importantly, since Shushu previously experienced abandonment, she is looking for a stable family that will give her the love and care she deserves.
