Sparta is a 1year old Belgian Malinois/Golden Retriever mix. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. She loves attention and is happy to be near you. She is crate trained and house trained and rides very well in the car. Sparta is a wonderful dog in so many ways but she does have some behavioral issues. She is very choosy on which dogs she gets along with and she doesn’t like children other than my own. She has bitten a child so I recommend a home without children or ones old enough to establish a working relationship with her. She has been trained in basic obedience but is also still very excitable. She has medium to high toy drive and loves to play. We have cats that she was raised with and she loves but I get the impression she could react aggressively to a strange cat that hissed or growled at her. Sparta is a wonderful dog in so many ways but she has started fighting with our other dog now and I think there is a better home out there for her where she could thrive.
