Hey guys, my name is Spot! I originally came to the Forsyth County Animal Shelter as a stray puppy back in 2022. Recently my adoptive family brought me back because they didn't quite understand what they were committing to by bringing home a puppy. I am a sweet affectionate boy that is full of energy, but despite my size I am still a puppy at heart. I really want to be a good boy and want to make sure my next family is one of these ‘forever families' that everyone is talking about. I am mostly house trained but will have an accident every now then, I think with a little more structure and help I could get it down perfect. In my previous home I lived with four cats and I REALLY wanted to play with them, but apparently, they did not appreciate my style of play, and my previous owners had to keep us in separate areas of the house. So, I probably want to avoid a house that has cats because I can't guarantee your cats will like my energy level... I haven't lived with another doggie friend yet, but I think I would be a good candidate for it if they enjoy playing as much as I do! I also lived with a couple older mini-humans and REALLY loved playing with them, but sometimes I have a bad habit of getting so excited I get mouthy. I am trying to get better about it and think that with some training and patience I could get past this quirk, but I will need someone who is dedicated to helping teach me what is socially acceptable in these situations. I really enjoy playing with my toys, going for walks, and playing fetch. I did attend a few obedience classes with my previous owners, but they never reinforced what the training lady taught me, so I am a little rusty.
