You just found your true sweet Spot! A mature, five-year-old male Shepherd mix, Spot is a medium sized pooch who weighs 54 pounds and has a classic black, white and tan coat. Life was fine for this boy when, all of a sudden, he found himself in a shelter because his owner needed to move into a nursing facility. There have been drastic changes in his life but he is venturing forward to make his next family to be his happily ever after. Spot is an affectionate, energetic boy who is very fond of human attention. He is quite playful and thinks nothing is more fun than being sprayed with water from a garden hose! He enjoys the company of other dogs and has not been introduced to small children or cats. He is happy to let his future family know that he is already house, and crate trained. He is super excited to demonstrate just how good of a boy he is with his skill set. He needs more practice on his leash training but he knows he will have the support of his family to back him up. It is important to remember that even though Spot is house trained accidents can occur while he is adjusting to a new home environment. Spot is primed and ready for a forever home that is committed to training, exercise and socialization. And affection, lots of affection! You have the power to give this deserving boy a second chance.
