Spot is a 2 yr old male Border Collie/Terrier mix who is looking for his forever home. He is a larger boy at 54 lbs and he will need a family who can keep up with his energy level. Zoooom! An experienced owner would be best for Spot. Spot is a comedian and will do anything for laughs. He enjoys other dogs and would like a playmate of his own in his new home. He still has a lot of puppy energy and can sometimes get hyper and mouthy when playing, so no young kids will be the best home environment for him. He is calm in his kennel and when asked to hangout. Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.
