Spritz the 13-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix here, and I need you to spread the word about me(aka share my post) so I can find my FURever family! ❤ Who here remembers me? I was part of the "Cocktail Litter". We were the litter that was found in a box by the dumpster. We were so starved that we had started sucking on any extremity we could find on one another. Thankfully with lots of TLC, we made a full recovery and all ended up getting adopted. Unfortunately, my family recently returned me. I had more energy than they were prepared to handle and it ended up driving a wedge between us to the point my owner said that they no longer felt a "connection" to me. They ended up returning me to rescue so I could find a family that appreciates ALL of me! While I have moments of high energy, they usually don't last all that long. I can be playing like crazy with the other dogs and running all throughout the house, and then suddenly be passed out on the floor catching some zzz's. If you are looking for someone that you can take out on walks/hikes and to all the cool hang-out spots, I would be all over that. I do well when meeting new people and am a very friendly girl. Now, I do have some abandonment issues and struggle with anxiety at times. When things happen too fast or change completely I don't always quite know what to do with myself. I am the kind of girl that is fine with change as long as I have time to adjust to it. You cannot bring me home and then suddenly throw all these different things at me at once. However, if you bring me home and give me time to adjust to my routine and new life, it won't be long until I will be ready to slowly start trying new things with you! I very much enjoy having canine companions in my foster home and do believe I will need them in my new home as well. They help get my energy out and keep me balanced. With that said a dog who is grumpy and likes his/her space won't be a good fit. I need someone like me. Someone who loves to play like there is no tomorrow, and then crash for a bit. I am trying to keep this on the down low since I have a reputation for upkeep, but I do well with my feline friends. However, I do sometimes need them to remind me that they are not interested in playing with me and that I need to let them get back to their nap. As far as the little hoomans go, I am not being fostered around any. However, I do have bouts of hyperness. This means that littles and frail folks are likely to become unintentional victims of a hip check and potentially end up on the floor. So, I think for both our sakes it be best that I am placed with older kids. Given that I have a hidden energizer bunny that likes to come out sometimes, an apartment is going to be a no-go for me. However, a nice backyard with ample space to do zoomies and let my inner crazy out sometimes would be amazing!
