Est dob: 3/18/21 This boy is going to steal your heart! Steel is super sweet, along with being potty and crate trained (but always expect adjustment). He likes to play with his female foster siblings and appears submissive in play. He likes to play and give kisses. Whomever had Steel before didn’t take care of him, so he is heartworm positive. But fear not! He is on the slow kill treatment approach that is easier on him. And if adopted, the rescue will cover the cost of the slow kill treatment until he tests negative. Steel is in a foster home with other dogs and teenagers that he does well with. Please consider making this handsome boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. This can be found on our website at: https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1 $200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates. If transporting out of state, the total adoption cost will be $500.
