Stella is very outgoing, playful and sweet. According to the previous owner, Stella does not have much experience with other animals and has never lived with any. We do suspect that she would chase small animals, but she has not been reactive towards the other dogs in the shelter! We do recommend a dog meet and greet prior to adoption. Stella is not fully potty trained, but has done great in the shelter. She is crate trained. It seems like she may have had accidents in the home if not crated when left alone. Stella does not pull when being walked on a leash, but she does tend to zig zag. She is very interested in everything around her! Stella does know many cues including, “sit”, “stay”, “down”, “off” and “no”. Stella will thrive best with regular exercise. She loves playing, especially with rope toys! Stella is very loving and is friends with everyone instantly. Stella arrived to the shelter with a fractured tooth and is scheduled to have it removed next week. Any adopter will need to bring Stella to the shelter for her scheduled appointment!
