Animal Profile: Stewie is a 1.5 year old, 50 lb, neutered male boxer pit mix who is looking for his forever home. He is super loving and affectionate with people, food and praise motivated, and even tempered. He's active, loves playing with toys, and has basic obedience training including house and crate training. He does well on leash with a confident handler. He hasn't lived with other dogs but did well in his temp testing with other dogs -- more info to come as we get to know him. Foster Update: Stewie’s affection for people of all ages is boundless. He’s learning to pull not quite so hard on the leash. Stewie ’s very food motivated. He loves to eat raspberries right off the cane, washed down with water from the hose. Stewie is house trained, which is a good thing because he could drink an entire lake. He’s a muscular potato that likes to bed down and snooze as much as he likes to break the sound barrier chasing after toys. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. He was adopted as a 5 month old puppy and returned over a year later due to a death in the family. He has not lived with another dog during that time period.
