Meet Stuart! Stuart is a 2-year-old lab mix and is ready to meet you! Stuart is a lovable goofball who has successfully completed a board-and-train program and has loads of skills to share with his new family! Stuart is a dog with lots of spirit and energy. His head moves around like and bobblehead and it may seem like he isn't paying attention, but he definitely hears everything. Stuart can be nervous in new surroundings, crowded places, and with new people; however, he worked hard on this at training and made great strides. He has had the opportunity to work with his foster family, both adults and kids, in these areas to create positive associations. In return, he has rewarded his foster family with endless belly rubs, offering his paw for a shake, and numerous laughs. Having completed a training program, Stuart knows all the basic commands and is crate, house, and leash trained. Stuart has done well with kids as young as 3. He especially loves the chase game. He is quick and the kids loved chasing him even though they weren’t able to catch him. Stuart has to beone of the quickest big dogs on this side of the Rockies, and he knows it too, always smiling that everyone is too slow. Stuart does best with smaller dogs and those with less dominant personalities. Stuart would make a great family dog. His playfulness, protective nature, and being a gentle giant toward all the kids are just a few things that make him the great dog he is. Stuart is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Stuart, apply today!
