Like the Olympic Gold Medalist she is named after, Sunisa is a champion in her field of Puppy Cuteness. She is all sweetness and wiggles. Sunisa is an energetic 1.5 year old who is eager to get out and play! She really enjoys playing with toys or going for long walks where she can smell everything the world has to offer, though you may need to remind her to slow down from time to time. This silly girl is known for finding the best spots to roll around in the grass for while but this may lead to her getting a case of the zoomies. With some quick redirection you can reign her in and keep your walk moving without a hitch! When taking a break from being playful she really is a smart cookie who is great with practicing holding her sit until you're ready to reward her! Don't forget to allow some time for belly rubs and scratches as she has a big affectionate side and loves to get close for some lovin! The shelter is no place for a wonderful pup like Sunisa who has unfortunately become a quality of life concern due to her length of stay as she has been at the shelter since the end of June making her the 10th longest resident. She is a smart girl and is mastering the art of "sit" and "wait". She is very treat motivated. She is eager to be with her human companion and has plenty of energy for adventures with you! Sunisa is dog social, she participates in playgroups. Staff can assist you with a dog to dog introduction. Sunisa is the darling of the judges at KCPP and she scores a perfect 10!
