Takini's transformation is the stuff fairy tales are made of. No one kissed a frog, but now he sure is as charming and handsome as any fairy tale prince! We don't wanna sugarcoat it too much, though. When we met Takini, he had an awful case of demodex mange. Yet, even when he was feeling miserable, his sweet personality was right there on display. Everyone who helped him just loved him! Takini is a Lakota word that means survivor or one who has been brought back to life. Gah, so true. Takini is almost 1 year old, and now that his coat has come in, we're guessing he is a white Shepherd mix. He'll probably be around 65 lbs. full grown. Of course, he gets along wonderfully with all kinds of people. He also does great with other dogs. And he loves to play with humans or dogs or both - everyone will have fun with this awesome dude. Takini is house trained and crate trained and just an all-around terrific boy. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. He's also on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. You can't tell from looking at him what he's been through - and he was never contagious, so no worries. Takini is so ready to live happily ever after. His adoption fee is $175.
