Early in the morning, as my senses start to recognize the start of a new day, one of my first thoughts is of sweet Tita and how excited she will be to see me walking through the gate of Dogtown. The thought of her happy face makes me hurry with my morning routine. Tita LOVES people! Tita seeks attachment, affection, bonding her own home & family. Helping Tita achieve her dreams has now become my goal. Tita deserves lots of kisses and snuggles and attention. Other staff members that walk Tita often comment on her sweet, affectionate nature, her love of giving kisses, how perfect she would be for an active person or family. Tita is smart and knows several commands. Tita's original designation was for a Service Dog, specifically a Mobility Aide. Tita quickly bonded with her owner. Tita got along well with the other resident dog as long as they were alone, but after a few months when owner would be in room also, Tita would get a bit territorial. Tita completed several months of training and did very well, but was unable to consistently perform them every single time. Tita has great qualities from her breeds - intelligent, eager to learn and eager to please, active, affectionate, capable of dep connection. She also is stubborn! Tita is highly trainable and learns well, just not quite at Service Dog level.
