Meet Toby Trampoline! 9-year-old Toby Trampoline became a Frosted Face on May 13th. His mom shared with us: "I'm currently facing financial hardship, and I have to surrender my place because I can no longer afford rent. My dog Toby jumped out of a 3 story window which caused him to break both of his legs. I have been caring for him the best that I can." We discussed different options including safety net boarding and offering to cover the costs of Toby's care. Due her moving plans and inability to keep him safe, relinquishment seemed like the best option both for Toby and his mom. Toby is so sweet and loves to cuddle. He loves to sit right next to you and falls asleep with his head in your lap. As you can see in the video, he also enjoys playing a relaxed game of fetch! He weighs 20 lbs. Toby Trampoline is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what he is like in a home. We received a great first update from his Fling Mom: "Toby Trampoline - what a cute guy! He has the cutest curly little mohawk and fringe on his ears. He was super chill on the 50 minute car ride home. He has been really good and non-reactive with our dog (even while she has been a little barky and is adjusting to him in her home). Here is what we know so far: - This guy is a little love bug. He is so sweet and good with the whole family. He loves belly rubs and will just flop over on his back so you can give him more. - He enjoys toys, though he has already popped a hole in his little donut stuffy. He is not possessive nor aggressive in the least.- He takes treats gently and seems food motivated, but doesn't beg much while you eat your lunch. - He knows the sit command and is such a good boy. We will find out if he knows any other commands.- He is a gentle leash walker and didn't tug at all on our walk around the neighborhood. We have already fallen in love with this little guy!"
