Turkey is a very loving boy so much so that he has a white heart on his chest. 7 years old and healthy. He is a great cuddler, loves to flop onto you and look up into your eyes. Commands: sit, stay(kinda), come, lay down, down, go and snapping to heel him. He really wants to please his humans. If you open your car door he will jump in. Loves kids. Okay w cats. Likes to play bite. Turkey has bitten two large dogs in the first month I had him and I have had zero issues since then(6months later). One instance was over food and the other was from to excitement. I rescued him from owners that did not treat him well and he is afraid of hoses, shovels, yelling, random men, being left, vacuum and more. We have created a safe space for him and he is less afraid. He didn’t play fetch until he was with us. My requirements for potential adopter: must OWN your home on at least one fenced acre. Take him hiking. Lots of treats(not till obese) and cuddles. Have time for him. Have patients.
