TURNIP IS APART OF OUR SENIOR'S FOSTER PROGRAM!! Hey, what’s up, hello! The one and only Turnip here checking in to see if maybe you’d want to give me my forever home? I am a 3 ½ year old bulldog mix on the hunt for my forever family! I was originally found as a stray in March of 2022, where I sat in the shelter for almost an entire year until my amazing foster mom rescued me with just minutes to spare before I was to be euthanized for space! I was very shut down at the shelter because of all of the loud noises and fear of what would happen to me -- today I am thriving and finally able to let my personality shine through! I am a very happy boy and love to play with toys, enjoy car rides, and going for walks. I don’t need “long walks on the beach”- I learned at the shelter that a short 10 minute walk will do for me! I sit on command, I have no food aggression but I can be a bit stingy with my toys. I walk well on the leash but a little more training would be ok with me, I’m very smart! My ideal home would be one where I am king of the castle but I wouldn’t mind sharing the castle with another calm dog! No cats for me though please! I’m fine to be left alone during the day! I can be a social butterfly but also I enjoy my own time sunbathing in the back yard or sleeping in my comfy dog bed. So, what do you think?
