Hello, I am looking for a trusted friend to snuggle with. I love people I get so excited when my people come home I want to be with them and get all the scratches. I would be right by their side all day if they would let me. but these pretty eyes don't let me get my way all the time. I love all people and get a little too excited when meeting strangers. but I just cant help myself, I have to jump up and lick their face! I fit in nicely with the dogs and cat at my foster home, I have been here over a year now, can you believe it! I still struggle with anxiety when meeting new dogs but my foster mom and me have a system worked out and can now get through intros with ease. There have been several other fosters dogs that have come and gone but here I still am. It ok though, having other foster dogs come and go gives me more positive dog experiences. Speaking of positive experiences... I went to summer camp! (one month board and train) I learned so much and made a bunch of friends there. I learned things like place, sit, down, leave, kennel, muzzle and heel. I even learned how to run on a treadmill! Kennels can stress me out but the treadmill helps me get all my anxious energy out and build my confidence. It is also super convenient for my humans. My ideal home is someone that would be committed to helping me reinforce what I have learned and use the tools that set me up for success. I do have energy but I am really good about knowing when to burn it off and when its time to lay around the house and get the snuggles in. I need time and a nice walk together with a new dog to ease my first impression jitters. I prefer happy playful dogs as my pals. I really love people I just crave being around them. I am pretty sure I am the worlds best snuggler. I want someone to love me so bad! There has to be someone out there that is perfect for me!
