Wilma is a sweetheart who was fostered by her finders. Although she was kept separate from their dog, their dog is dog reactive, and it was too much to have both of them. However in the time they had her, she was spayed, showed she was good with their cats, loved to cuddle and snuggle, loves going for walks, and loves everyone she meets. She has also had several dog meets including drop leash meets in the play yard and has done well. Notes from her current foster parent: (7/21) "As my cat shows more interest in her, and she is out-of her crate more and more, her personality is really coming out. I believe the only reason she should be in an adult-only household is because she does not know her own size and strength, and could knock down kids easily. I also believe that she would greatly benefit from a household with another dog. She still pulls on the leash, especially when she gets excited when she sees other dogs, and we continue to work on that. I just wish I had more time to dedicate to training; she would benefit from more frequent and perhaps professional training." (5/19 )"We are working on not pulling on the leash, and I've definitely seen some improvement. It's her excitement that gets the best of her. We have met small dogs and larger dogs and she does well with both. She is very interested in meeting kids but I really don't know any so I have not been able to introduce her to any. We have past cats on our walks, within about 20 inches or 2 feet, and she does really well. She wants to smell them. She has shown no signs of aggression. She does however aggressively love her handler and wants all the attention from strangers."
