Woodford was part of a "Doodle" backyard breeder/hoarder case where he was one of 25 Doodle mixes taken in by animal control. All the dogs were young and terribly matted and filthy (feces and urine stuck in the matted fur) to the point where many were having trouble to walk and see. The dogs were timid but once they were shaved down and feeling better, they started to warm up and run around. It's hard to see but Woodford has black/brown/grey colors. Woodford has become a happy, friendly and playful boy. He is looking for a family who will keep him well groomed and smelling nice and shower him with love, toys and yummy treats. He gets along with other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. Woodford is about 2 years old and 40 pounds. Please help our sweetheart Woodford find the loving home he deserves. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
