Xanders forever family is out there and we know it!Xander loves being around his pack (two other male pups) and has been a wonderful addition to his foster family. He loves going on walks and hikes whether in the neighborhood or out in the mountains (his leash skills have improved immensely over the past several months!). His crate is his safe place and he voluntarily sleeps in it every night. Xander is also fully potty trained, plays great with other dogs of all sizes, loves going on car rides, can free roam in the house while alone (he's never chewed anything that wasn't a toy) and waits patiently for his food until he is given the "OK!" We are currently working on learning "fetch." All in all, Xander is truly the sweetest and most special guy with LOTS of love to give (#1 snuggle buddy). A home that can provide him the security, structure and patience to allow him to get comfortable in a new environment will be key to long-term success and happiness for all. Xander will do best in a quieter and low traffic home that will give him time to settle into his new environment. Once he develops trust with his core unit, he will feel confident around new people and in new environments. He is eager to love, he just needs time to feel safe, secure and protected. His foster has graciously offered to do a meet and greet outside of an event if you’re interested in meeting this special boy! He still attends adoption events every now and then, he’s just his best self outside of them.We hope you see in him what we do!##1684199##
