Hi there. My name is Zala. I am looking for a foster home while I recover from ACL surgery. I had my surgery on August 25 and I am doing well. I am working on resting and healing. The hard part is keeping my cute wiggle butt quiet and calm till my leg is healed from surgery. I can't wait to see me all healed and running pain free with my new forever family.I am a pretty terrier mix who was originally rescued from the Texas streets where I was abused and had several litters of puppies. I was brought to our humane society because my owner didn't have time to care for me with my separation anxiety. I am grateful for all the love and care the shelter gives me but I am so ready for a fresh start in life.At the shelter I love being with people but I am not a fan of other dogs in the shelter environment. I did live with other dogs in my previous home and I was fine with them. I would be considered "dog selective". I have walked with some shelter dogs outside of the shelter and I do fine. There were young children in my home but older kids would be better this time.I can't wait to go for walks once I am healed. I just want to have fun and be goofy. I am such a sweet girl with people. I am very quiet in my kennel. Ear scratches and cuddles are the best. Wait till you feel my fur. It is like silk.. Do you have a couch I can crash on please? I am waiting just for you. Love, Zala.
