If you leave for work most days and would like to be welcomed when you return home, Zilker Park can be your happy roommate! He will love to say hello and give you kisses. He'll immediately want you to play with him and go for walks. And he'll want your petting and belly rubs! This energetic, playful young boy is a bundle of energy. He loves going for adventurous walks and will often do a happy dance when it's time to go. He walks well, rarely pulling, and is always near his fosters, giving them a funny side-eye. He's also excited to meet new people, including children. He can be a bit shy and scared when meeting dogs. At home, he's content to eat and hang out with his foster's German Shepherd. Zilker is a very smart boy who already understands 'sit,' 'stay' and 'crate.' And he's working on fun party tricks - dance, shake, and roll over. He is also crate-trained and does well there when his fosters are away at work, very quiet, sleeping, and playing with toys. He's just happy to see them come home. And he's already house-trained. Zilker will love a home with a family who can take him for walks and enjoy being outdoors in the sun with him, then bring him inside to rest and sleep. In return, he'll be thrilled to see them come home from work! Meet this adorable boy!
