Alaskan Malamute-Weimaraner Mix Dog for Adoption in Palmer, Alaska, 99654 USNickname: HARLEY Posted Breed: Weimaraner / Alaskan Malamute / Mixed (medium coat). Harley is a very sweet and affectionate little girl. She will need a home that can provide her with additional training and socializing. Harley may need a moment to get to know you when first meeting, but she has warmed up quickly to new people and is very cuddly! Harley acts like a big baby and enjoys sitting on people's laps and being carried. Sheâs only about 30 pounds now, but we imagine she will still think sheâs a lap dog even when sheâs bigger! Harley is still learning new things, but she is mostly potty trained. She also knows the cue âsitâ and is very gentle when taking treats. Harley is currently learning some leash walking skills and is becoming more confident when leashed, which is great! Harley enjoys playing with other dogs and would enjoy having a nice friend in her new home. She has lived with cats as well and was said to mostly ignore them. Introductions to new animals should be taken slowly! Harley has lived with children and did well with the bigger children in the home, but was very nervous around infants. To set Harley up for success, she will not be adopted into a home with children under 5. If you believe your home would be a good fit for Harley, come on by and meet her! She is great at stealing people's hearts.
